Kartikeya Sewa Samiti started functioning in 2012 and was registered as a non-profit organization (Under section 21/1860 of Society Registration Act) in 2014. Kartikeya Sewa Samiti works towards providing physiotherapy, speech therapy and hearing aid to children born with cerebral palsy and other neuro-orthopaedic disabilities. We also function in the fields of Education, organising clothes donation and distribution to needy, sanitation, immunization, malnourishment, epidemics, environment education, family planning etc. Kartikeya Sewa Samiti engages in a variety of activities including raising awareness, organizing debates, training and dissemination of information pertaining to societal issues across rural and urban areas in and around Basti (U.P). Since its inception, Kartikeya Sewa Samiti has helped over 5 villages in the times of drought, fire and has successfully helped close to 100 children with neuro-orthopaedic disabilities walk. Funds are raised through individual donations and independent resource mobilization efforts e.g. Clothes, old books/notebooks, utensils donation and distribution activities.
